Rebuild kits?

Okay, I'm planning a 4.0 rebuild this summer as well as a 5 speed swap... I'm looking into a master rebuild kit for both the transmission and the engine. I saw a kit for the engine on rockauto.com for about $850. My question is....how good would it be? I don't feel like juicing the engine up much...maybe some headers but not much. Does anyone know of any other kits online? As for the transmission, is it worth rebuilding aside from a new clutch and slave cylinder? If so, who would have good kits to buy? I haven't really done much research on the transmission yet... I plan on it in the near future when I don't have work for 8 hours and school for another 6. Thanks in advance, Pete.

I've done a bunch with ENGINETECH kits not sure how compatible the prices are but they seem to have good parts in the kits. First step before ordering is to know specs like are you having it bored .30, crank turned .10 .10, do the rods need recond ect. I am fixing to do a 2.3 lima soon as I get off my butt and order a good cam for it.
