I need to replace the rear window on my 2000 Ranger. I was told to just take it to a shop to get it installed. Do I really need to do that?

If not, how do I do it myself?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've never done it before, but I've heard its quite easy.
You should be able to do it yourself, once you figure out how.

its bolted in, take off the rear plastic on the inside and you will see the nuts, its easy

Kevins right, and you will need to get some butyl tape to seal the new one back in. Take all the nuts off, start pushing on the window flathanded, spreading the preasure over as much windo area as possible, and the old butyl will start to let go. just clean up all the old butyl, apply your new butyl to the new window, press into place, and start all the nuts back on. Work your way around the window, slowly tightening all the nuts a little at a time.
