Rear Wheel Well Splash Shields

Hey all! Sorry for reviving an old thread but I just purchased the Boston Buddy splash guard complete set Grumpaw was talking about and currently waiting for it to arrive.

I can’t find anything in regards to installation instructions but I wanted to see if anyone had any pictures of these installed? I know the wheel well has the holes so the upper push pins can just go straight in, but how is the lower hole (with bolt and nut) mounted if these are zero drilling? Pictures would be helpful!

There is nothing out there for information but I’m hoping this community will come to the rescue! New owner here, just trying to get my truck back to its former glory while also future proofing it the best I can!

Thanks in advance all!

on my 2nd gen the Ford OEM splash shields are only held with one bolt at the back - the same bolt that holds the fender to the support

Thanks Brain75, that was my only guess other than on the rearward side I could mount it to the corner piece maybe but that would still leave the frontward side. Since it has new hardware, I’ll probably swap the box to fender support bolt out for longevity sake! Thanks again for the reply on such an old thread.
