The rear upper shock mounts on my 1998 4x4 xlt s/c are looking realllly rough. Does anyone know if the ones from an F-150 will work? I've seen pics on line...and they look the same...but can't make that call on just a pic. If not what have some of you guys done? I want to replace the gas tank crossmember and tank straps, remove the rotten spare tire peice, put in another small crossmember there to hold the darn evap canister, then epoxy/chassis paint the frame...I already have the bed off.

thanks,

John

Come on guys, help a brother out. Someone must have replaced the upper shock mounts or fabbed their own??????

I'm not familiar with the F150 stuff but if it looks close , use it. It's no big deal to drill holes to match the new bracket.
