i am wondering what springs and shackle combination would work good for an 8in lift. i currently have f-150 springs with a 8in shackle and 4.5 in block. the springs are old and sagging badly. It also was axle wrapping really bad enough to break a yoke behind the 2.9. it currently has 35's but will be putting at least 37's when dana 60 and sterling 10.25 swap is finished. i want to keep it close to the same height and just trim more to clear larger tires. It will have a 351 v8 swapped in before finished as well. It is not street legal, and want it to articulate good.

I was thinking about doing the hanger flip with beltech shackle and 63in springs. but i would need around a 8in spring. i was told any thing over a 4in lift spring doesn't flex good. i just need some input and see what others have done. thanks everyone.

I used 5" toyota springs fromTrail-Gear. Then with beltech 6400s it got about 9" of lift with no blocks. I just pulled 2 leafs out of each side to lower is and it took about 4" of ride hieght out. And the bolt right in and flex amazing.
