Rear lights

Well I have finally located a replacement bed for my 92 xlt 6 foot bed. Its sitting on a 94 in a junk yard.

Its the right length. so it should just bolt right on.

What about the rear lights? Will mine line up and screw on to the newer bed? Or am I going to have to shell out more cash and take the ones from the 94 with me?

94 is a different bed style with different lights.

Your old lights will not fit.

The bed will bolt on the truck, but it won't match the cab.

Your talking to a guy that doesn't care what it looks like. I just don't like my fenders falling apart and rubbing my tires.

I am Proud when it turns out butt ugly => Although I am not aiming for butt ugly.

I will take some pics. Should look interesting since. Its a green truck. The box is black. And I have a red tailgate. So it will end up as a green cab. red tailgate and a black box. => With maybe some tuck tape holding on rear lights until I can get the tail lights replaced. => LOL

We will see. Maybe the box will come with the tail lights still attached.

well in that case buy you some of those ebay euro tails for it......certain to wrap up the entire ensemble nicely!

Well you may not be aiming for it but i think you might get but hey, as long as it works and you're happy with it, thats all that matters, right?
