rear leaf springs

I used exolorer leaf srpings and belltech extended shackles to gain about 4-5'' ith the stock block, add a couple of the ranger leafs into the expo pack and im sure you could get the extra inch as a cheap alternative, depending on what your looking for, if im not mistake lift leafs are pricey unless you come across a deal

yeah they are pricey

i can get a pair of six inch skyjackers for like 380 plus shiping just looking cheaper but thanks for tip

ill try to get some measurements for ya tomoro on what i actually gained with my setup

I used 64" Chevy springs, and Chevy 2" drop shackles and my stock blocks. That combo got me 5". I think I will weave a Ranger leaf into the packs if I need to go 6".

Ok, here's an idea. The 63 1/2 chebs involve moving the front hangers forward a few inches.

How long are stock ranger springs? Like 54 or 56 inches or something?

Why not use some 52" 3/4 ton chebs and boomerang shackles or taking a few leaves out of the pack so it squats out to get a decent shackle angle. With 4 leafs in my pack, they're holdin up the front of my truck. Somethin to think about.

If you pull the bed, moving the fornt hangers forward doesnt take much. You can reuse the front bottom hole in the frame, so all you have t do is drill three more holes, and weld a tab on the hanger so the front top hole can be relocated. If it is a Super Cab the cab mount will have to be notched and and tab welded between the frame and the back of the mount to support it where the bed bolts on. I was lucky enough to get Chevy springs with good bushings so I didnt ahve to experience removing the spring bolts.

skyjacker sells the 6 inch spring. add a extended shackle and she'll flex like Arnold
