For the last half year Ive had a coolant leak somewhere. Not till I read up on it here did I realize to check the frost plugs. After looking at my rear Drivers side. I did notice it was wet. This gives me some joy as I am hoping its that and not a head gasket, cracked head or lower intake gasket.
Anyway, Anyone ever done one? The space is pretty damn tight in there.

It all depends on which freeze plug is leaking. Some on the side of the block are, relatively speaking, easy to get too. Some require removing the starter. The ones on the back of the block will require that the transmission and flywheel be removed to gain access. If it is a cylinder head freeze plug, the head will have to be removed to gain access to the rear plugs.

Sometimes it's an instance of spending a couple of hundred dollars to replace a 50 cent part.

Pull the engine and replace ALL of them. If one is rusting out, the others are probably not too far behind.

While you're at it, replace the perpetually leaking oil pan gasket, and consider replacing crank seals and the clutch, if necessary.
