Hello,

I recently noticed a brushing sound at lower speeds and at higher speeds it's like a full blown squeal. It only seems to happen when I accelerate, and I can't notice it in neutral (moving or stationary) or reverse. I also tried Drive/2nd and 1st and it makes the same sound for each. As I slow down the sound kind of whirrs down also.

I jacked my Ranger up and checked for play in the rear wheels, and there seems to be quite a bit...wheel bearings maybe?

Thanks!

Most commonly i will be your U-joints.. Check them real good. Then pull your hubs and check the brake pads..

I know it would vary from shop to shop...but what would I be looking for cost to replace a u-joint?
