rear doors

My rear doors are giving me fits. The driver's rear handle broke at the upper cable insertion point, but the lower seems to be working. I have to yank the cable by hand to release one point and pull the handle to release the other. On the passenger side, my lower latch doesnt seem to be catching. My front door, therefore, rattles on the road. Any preferred parts out there? Handle, rivets, cable, latch? TIA.

Looks like Rock has all your handle mechanisms for $40 to $45. OEM from Ford is quite a bit more. Amazon will have latches and cable repair kits(new ends)

Replace the grommets with aluminum ones, those plastic grommets (holds the cable sheathing from coming thru the door) break then you have to pull the cable by hand like you say.
