New poster here, but been reading this site for a couple of years now. A lot of useful tips have helped me out of many jams. I know the door ajar issue has been covered but my scenario is different. My truck is a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT with the smaller rear doors. The problem occured back when the truck was brand new. If the rear doors weren't slammed shut very hard the door ajar light would come on anytime the truck leaned in any direction going around a corner. At that time I took it back to the dealer who said there was no problem. I would get through it by really slamming the doors or not using them at all. Now its just worse. Now the door ajar light comes on during the slightest corner or rough patches of road. This is not a WD-40 solution. I need to find out how to bypass the sensors in the rear doors. The doors don't move when all doors are closed so I know its safe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
