do i need to replace my master cylilender when doing an explorer disk swap?

i didn't replace mine, but i have a crown vic / ranger 28 spline contraption
 
tech library says if you have rear anti lock brakes then you have the same MC already
 
What about a proportioning valve? It doesn't make sense that you can just swap out the brakes...
 
I'm thinking the difference in MC's from non rear disk to rear disk is how much pressure it puts out. With the rear antilock brakes it uses the larger MC so you should still have the right pressure output to operate them. You could probably put a prop valve in there just for tunability but again I haven't done the swap so I'm going on the article from the tech library.
