Thanks for proving you are their leader.....And no I dont care since you added nothing to this post other than to throw numbers out there.

160 + 140 + 260 + 200 + 100 = 860 not 1369
1369 - 860 = 509

the extra $509 is clearly the budget for hookers, beer and pizza! :icon_thumby:

i had about 350 in my rear end swap-- which was 96 explorer rear end complete, 2 new calipers(didn't want to risk anything on that), ruff stuff swap kit(u-bolts, spring perches, and shock tabs with 8.8 Diff guard). so i went over on some stuff, but i like to think i kept it within reason...

but now i'm about getting ready to do gears so theres another $500-600 hahaha

CLEARLY it is for the booze:icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

i wouldn't even want to know how much that would be hahaha:icon_surprised:

i really wouldn't recommend the full expo pack in the ranger it rides like ass maby the expo main leaf and 2 rangers would be a lilbit better thats what im running now with my long bed and it still rides like absolute ass

i'm pretty sure that could be changed with a change in your shackle. i've heard the impacts the ride quality more than re-packing the leafs.

if the Explerer has 3.73's and you have 4.10's, you might be better off looking for a differant axle. It might be cheaper than re-grearing yours. When I did one of those swaps a while ago not including the price of the Axle I spent about $15. You can get spring perches at about any farm store for about $10. Just use trailer perches. I then got 4 heavy duty washers and welded them to the axle for the shock mounts. Spent about another $5 in brake fluid. Done deal. People don't junk explorers because axles are bad, they junk axles because the explorer is bad. I've pulled a lot of axles out of junkyards and ran them the way they were. Most of the ones I bought I didn't even have to change the brakes. Just make a bastard leaf pack, play with the explorer and ranger leafs until it looks and rides like you think it should. I've ran 2 main leafs even, just cut the ears off the lower one.
