Rear Axle Clarification

So just to clarify. All FX4 Rangers ( non Lvl II) 03+ came with an 8.8, L/S, and 4.10s? I ordered some chromoly axle shafts for my rear but I'm pretty sure they're gonna be the wrong ones even though summit racing says they're compatible with the 8.8 I have. It said the axle shafts were 36 inches long and that doesnt sound right to me, shouldn't they be 31.75ish? ( Naturally my dumbass figures this out after they've been purchased and are currently bein shipped out here ) Is the ring and pinion 4.10s? I coulda swore they were 3.73s.

Pretty sure about the 4.10, even my 2000 off-road had the 4.10 as standard. Not sure about the L/S. Axle lenghts from RockAuto show 27 1/4" and 30 1/4"

well after doin some more research on yukons site apparently what i ordered is compatible and i'm not seein the actual axle length on yukons site so i guess i'll just have to see when they get here and hope they fit lol

I run Yukon axles at the rear. I ordered them from Yukon and I told them what I had. I have a 99 2wd Ranger with the 8.8 and a 4.10 gear. I added the gear and the axles in 2000. Never had any problems with the setup.
