well for the past 2 months my truck has been out of commission with bad ball joints, a broken leaf spring and sagging torsion bars... over the past few weeks i have been collecting parts and installing them... i got new MOOG upper and lower ball joints, MOOG tie rod ends, #1 spring rate torsion bars, 6" skyjacker leaf springs and new bilstein 5100 shocks... basically im doing everything i should have done when i lifted it the first time

i washed the truck before i put it away in the garage

i still need to bolt everything in in the rear and put the james duff traction bars back in

:icon_cheers:

well its finished... i don't have any pictures yet but i can say it rides so smooth now... i just got back from sam's club and target in slidell and it was so smooth... i need to let the new springs settle in and get the torsion bars set where i want them so i can get it aligned

for those who are thinking about the skyjacker leaf springs i would advise you to get them... i did have to widen the hole on the spring plate to fit the leaf spring bolt but that might be avoided by getting a set of spring plates off of an older ranger... other than that they were a direct bolt in despite only being advertised for pre 98 rangers

you should have just put coilovers in it rather that spending money on new torsion bars.

just my opinion.

they are only $110 for they set... i only need them for a year or so until i get a dana 44 to put under there:icon_hornsup:

here are the finished pictures... i drove it to work on friday so i think the springs have pretty much settled in
