So the headliner in the B3 is starting to fall right above the windshield and my attempts at re-gluing it are starting to fail. My question is, would it be too difficult to recover it with new fabric myself? And how would I go about doing so?

Pretty easy just get the right glue and fabric....I had mine done only cost $30 for a shop to do it

I redid the one in my BII, was easy enough, just be careful you don't damage the board while removing the old foam & fabric from it.
My luck wasn't so great with the Permatex headliner adhesive I used though (fabric started coming undone after just a few months), you might instead try one of 3M's products on it maybe.

3M is the way to go, it is what we use to glue 1" thick cab foam in tractors at work. :icon_thumby:

3M #80 is the stuff to use. Follow the instructions.

Shweet, doesn't sound too bad. How should should I go about removing the old material?

make a cut in the part that is already dropping and then pull it out towards the egdes, that way theres less of a chance of damaging the corners of the bpard when trying to peel the fabric loose. im going to be recovering mine and adding sound deadener to the roof here shortly, im going to use blue plaid fabric/ fleece so it will match the interior and my sons car seat.
