PICKED THIS 91 RANGER UP FOR $900. I'VE HAD A FEW IDEAS, BUT WOULD STILL LIKE TO HEAR SOME FEEDBACK..

SO FAR I HAVE PICKED UP THE 17X8 ARE TORQ THRUST Ms AND TIRES.

I HAVE PICKED UP SOME BUCKET SEATS AND A DASH FROM A 98 RANGER.

I FOUND AN AIR DAM FROM A 94 EXPLORER LIMITED.

LET ME KNOW OF ANY OTHER IDEAS OUT THERE.

THANKS A LOT!

sweet wheels. but have fun with that dash I just got done putting a 04 dash in my 87. If you are planning and running the airbox out of the 98 you will need to cut a big ass hole in the fire wall.

Odie, did you have a lot of trouble with your 04 dash??.. Think it would be more trouble than it's worth?.

well things you have to look at. What are you going to do about the airbox, the a/c panel is all based off of vacum, where as the old style is cables. You then have to make new brackets to mount the dash. four bolts on each side and three across the firewall. then you have to figure out how you are going to wire in all the gauges and all. the only reason I did it was b/c I placed 04 motor, trans, t-case, gas tank, rear axle and all the wiring in a 87 the olny thing left of the 87 is the body and chasis I have will even change the front axle to d44-50 hybrid.

I like that explo limited grill, whats your final plans for this thing? BTW if you have a 5spd, we basically have the same truck, besides color

REDBULL, YOU CAN BUY THAT EXPO LTD GRILL AT http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/pts/1606577838.html -$30.

AS FAR AS FINAL PLANS; I'M NOT THERE YET.. I CAN'T COME UP WITH ANYTHING. I WANT IT TO BE A FUNCTIONAL 'TRUCK'; NO SLAMMIN, NO HUGE SYSTEM.. I WILL PROBABLY PUT BAGS IN REAR (MANUAL INFLATION) FOR HAULING. I'M HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS ABOUT THE 98 DASH, AFTER TALKING W/ ODIE. I HAVE MY CLEAR CORNER AND DIAMOND CUT HEADLIGHTS AND CHROME SQUARE TUBING 'PETERS' GRILLE. I JUST ORDERED SOME VINTAGE MUSTANG REPO CHROME MIRRORS. I CAN'T COME UP WITH COLOR.

IT'S BETWEEN WINDVEIL BLUE (FORD), BERMUDA BLUE (GM), DARK COPPER (FORD) OR MAYBE EVEN SOME KIND OF RED.. I AM OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS.

I AM GOING TO GO WITH ROCKER PANEL GT STRIPES AND GREY ' F O R D ' ON THE TAILGATE TO MATCH SPOKES OF WHEELS.

HELP!

Staying with orignal dash; would look good, but would be way to modification involved. I believe i would probably have to use all of my old controls and gauges too.. So, no 98 dash.

Phat rims, I'm trying to talk a guy down on some for our 67 mustang! Keep us posted on your progress!

Ya, I know what you mean, keep it practical. Thats my plan all I want is a good cruiser and tire burner. I'll keep my eye on this build, good stuff right here

STARTED STRIPPING THE RE-ARRANGER TODAY.

I'VE DECIDED ON WINDVEIL METALLIC BLUE W/ GREY GT STRIPES.
