Rattling windows

Sup guys, This is one of the little details I want to fix on my truck, the windows feel kind of loose and rattle on the doors.

Its even worst when the window is halfway open.

Any way to fit it?

It may be the seal at the bottem of the window frame on the door. It holds the window so it does not rattle. both me and my dad's trucks window rattles and are gonig to a new seal on. they are also can call anti rattle kits hoped I help.

Does it rock back and forth RSH? My Mustang has a rivet I need to replace, so it rattles. But I can also rock it back and forth a bit.

it moves back and forth a bit yeah. but side to side is the worst.

IDK if mine still has those rivets,, since the windows where taken apart when going from manual to power stuff.

I had my doors apart in my 87 and was really suprized to see the rivets holding the windows assembly just about gone, i replaced them with nuts, bolts and red lock-tight.
now my windows close while going down the freeway

That sounds like a good idea. I will try that when I take them apart to wire the power locks.

My windows rattle at highway speeds...now I might take a look at the rivets to see if they are doing what they're supposed to do...sometimes I can't even roll the window up all the way when I'm on the highway...very annoying...especially when I want to keep in a nice beluga fart that smells like a dead walrus...

what's the seals where it slides down into the door look like?
that's why mine rattles, the little rubber deals are GONE.

I used bolts and lock nuts on mine.
It has been a year or two and I haven't had any problems.

Check out Rock auto. If you wish you can pay about 50.00 for the outside rubber window pieces from lmc, OR pay 15.00 from rockauto. That price is for each one. Ordered, came in a few days later, installed them, just like oem. Very satisfied with them. Lee
