i found out that i suck at painting with the rattle can.
got a tool box for the big truck and painted it black. it doesnt look too bad, but no one needs to get close enough to see how awful it is.

then after that i got ambitious and painted the front end of my blue truck. its only been sitting in primer for 2 years so i really dont care how bad it is, but it looks terrible. but at least its painted and wont rust so bad now.

let the bashing begin

ohh lol i got too close....bet it looked even worse without the paint....

I've always hated the finish rattle cans have... but recently got into Dupli-Color. They're new nozzle makes painting soooo much better with those things....thats what i recommend.

It takes a lot of practice to get a decent finish with rattle cans, but it can be done.

I've seen worse rattle can paint jobs here in Fannin County. They make yours look like you had a professional do it. I think it looks good.:D

Wet sand it and stand back a little and put another coat on it, You can do it! LOL

it doesnt look THAT bad.
sand it and step back a bit. ur applying it to close, thats why it leaves shiny parts and drips.

Its all in the sanding, its not the rattle can. A good wet sand, paint, sand, paint, sand etc. 5-10 times and then gloss wet sand etc. Youll have showroom finish.

go look at my truck man...thats bad yours isnt bro

pfft, i probly got the worse. i got 2 different colors of primer, sky blue, blue, yellow,white,red, maroon,silver and black

Yours looks ok to me.

This dude at work was bragging about his paint job. We went out after work to check it out. He used a roller to paint it. It looked like CRAP.

Resto mustang or one of them mags used rustoleum and a flat roller to paint his 66, He did a complete writeup with sanding and all the works, pics of the painting dripping down the side of the car. But when he was done it was a showroom shine and glistened like nothing Ive ever seen.

yeah this was just temporary. i need to get a job and some money saved up so i can fix the rust on all the vehicles and then paint them and make them all nice and shiny so i can go scratch them up on the level b's and on the highways.
