So I started building my new 84 Ranger. As posted in another thread my 96 ranger burned up.http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115309

Just had the 84 under the knife for about a month, sorry pretty much no pics. But I will work on it, well heres a list of what I've done. front to back

FRONT
-Dana 35 swapped in to replace the 28
with my 4in RC lift
-new wheel bearings, races and seals
-e-clip removal mod
-Upgraded to Spicer 5-760x axle joints with tacked caps
old G2 4.56 ring gear was missing some teeth(saddle strap broke)
Warranty replaced it just paid shipping
-Had it reinstalled and welded the spiders
-welded a plate to the front of diff for a little added strength. looking to build a front diff cover with mini skid plate
-new brake lines, extended skyjacker lines also
-driver side caliper replaced
-cut coil buckets and gusseted made with new shock mount
-longer superlift F250 shocks

BACK
-Old RC 4in lift shocks(with ghetto mounts pics later)
- lift shackles
-Chevy 4 leaf with overload removed(so 3 leafs)
- new brake lines
-RC 3in tapered block
-G2 LS unit

Painted frame
Sittin on 35's

Questions
From what i read i need a shorten front drive shaft but for now my stock Dana 35 is working almost seemed a little too short upon install. If anyone could shed some light on this that would be nice?

Future plans

Front and rear diff cover
Extended RA's
Tube bed
sliders
bumpers
fix and install my winch
re paint cab (Im not a flame fan, just the way it came)
Bunch more I can't think of

back flex is great, front not such much, I think my shocks are binding up, and I need to push myself to make some Extended RA's too

Previous owner swapped in a 4.0 from an Ex with the auto trans and t-case

No story on the f150 that i know of, GF's Grandpa's

took the ranger out on its first real offroad adventure, it was my ranger 2
Xj's and 1 ZJ(?). did pretty good for its first trip getting real worked, broke a lock out hub and short axle shaft on pass side, but looks like the spicer 760 held up. I really need to firgure out the transfer case, no 4 low. it shut off a few times when rolling down hills and stopping. had too kind of drive it 2 footed

we thought the snow was suppose too hold off til the evening, but it started at 8 am
