Rare Sky Ranger

It is a Ranger. Thanks for posting something different. Of course there is always someone who's seen it before, nothing new to some, they seen it all, dodge did it, it's F'ugly, whatever.............

I'd give them an A for effort, but I don't like how the rag top angles down and is lower than the cab back thing, bad angles and no lines there. choppy. I bet it looks better with the top down.

I'm not a fan of the gen II Rangers, just my taste.........but that conversion is strange......

That bar looks like somethin that belongs on a boat, not a Ranger.

$30K..........they must be smokin somthin!

I had an Airman that worked for me YEARS AGO, that bought a 82 GMC S15 that had "Gypsy Magic" on the bedsides and a fiberglass air bar/air foil that sloaped from the roof line to bout a foot down the bed. NEVER saw another one like it, but figured it was a dealership conversion to sell the trucks.

Any of those conversion are done by the dealerships themselves, Ford or GM didn't make any such trucks. Just like Yenko, Greenwood, Baldwin Motion type Chevelles, Camaros, Novas for example.

I'm not into convertibles. I love the lower body kit on this Ranger, it's a super clean truck and I've never seen one before. American Sunroof Corp. Has been around along time and has done work for Ford on t-top, sunroofs and convertibles.

I think thats possibly a dealership mod. If it's an actual production vehicle by ford than that would be pretty neat.

I'd rock it for a reasonable price. There was a legit Saleen Ranger for sale online some time back, even it was more reasonably priced than that and I'd much rather have one of those. Heck their is an '88 GT on a car lot in town, they want $1500 cash and I think that's too much.

If I were to get my hands on one of those I think I'd have to swap it over to a lowered 2wd chassis with a turbo 4 or V8.
