Since I bought it it has been torn down and I am slowly going through it and replacing pretty much all the sheetmetal in and on the car.

:shok: *Drool* :icon_cheers: Beautiful, you and Gwaii gotta race when both are done haha...:icon_thumby:

Hah! Tom actually said he would help me paint the car if I got my ass in gear and finished it. I might need to get the 429/c6 swap done before I race the gt12 tho :icon_bounceblue:

Meh find a good hill thats wet and coast down with all that weight pushing ya while you're making engine noises. Tom will have issues getting that thing from spinning and going all "Caddywampus" on him. Wish you two weren't so far north i would love to hit some trails up when my ranger/b2 thing is done.

Awe c'mon.....MountainMike is making his way our way from Whitehorse for a BS session! What's your excuse? :icon_twisted:

I still have tons to do on my Mach 1. Pretty much at the same stage that Sasquatch_Ryda is at. Plan is to keep the 351, and swap in the 4 speed. Then someday down the road, swap in a 428cj.

Can't wait for the day when I can start up the 69 and take it for a ride.

But, there's too many other issues and projects to deal with at the moment...Like trying to help my dad keep his house, so I have a place to work on and store all my stuff. This damn government and economy is NOT helping things... But i'm not giving up.

I will have to get pics but my grandfather has a 71 Jaguar XKE v-12 convertible. It will be mine since his will says so. He has owned it since new, and it has 36k on it.

Dad has a '57 Chevy Bel-Air 4dr 283 Powerpack. It is still in the rough, we are hoping to get it going this summer.

My great uncle bought it in '61, last time he had it plated was in '87. I think it has about 80k on it, body is pretty solid. He had problems with the powerglide at some point and had a 3spd on the tree put in.

We blew a brakeline unloading it (no big deal), the engine is stuck from sitting, and some creature made a nest under the hood and messed up the wiring (again no real big deal)

Just about everything about the car is cool, the detail they put into it is pretty incredible compared to the blah 80's and 90's stuff I grew up with.

Guy next door has a 54 Chevy. Pretty beat, but he has plans, he says.

Kinda like this one:
