Giving my truck more money than it deserves.
Hey, bit of an out-there post. I was scrolling through the options catalog for the bronco/ranger someone had uploaded here. Do you think any of the bronco ski racks survive? I think once I'm "done" sorting out the car, this would make an excellent final touch. I think it would be very important for my triumphant return to the slopes post-covid with the flex roof accessories.

They are out there

There is an episode of "keeping up appearances" that comes to mind...

Search Car-part.com enough and I'm sure you'll find them. In a decade or so..

haha The issue is the junk yards that still have Bronco IIs are down south... where there is no snow...

That doesn't mean there won't be any available. People sell vehicles, and those vehicles move all over the United States...

25 to 50 bux for the normal one....trying to get the whole truck.

I have the standard roof rails on my Bronco too. They're not great for hauling skis. The optional carrier sandwiches the skis between foam pads so you don't risk damaging the wax underside.

If you have the part number troll ebay.

A lot of weird NOS stuff can pop up on there, something that obscure might not be too bad of a price.

I assume you are referring to the classic Patricia Routledge "Mind the pedestrian Richard!" show.

I genuinely laughed out loud when I read this post, because I believe I remember the exact episode you are referring to. Blast from the past.

You can find quite a lot of stuff if you spend time scouring the internet. As much info as you have (part numbers, etc.) will help. Ebay is a good place to start, but craigslist can also come up with some rare stuff from time to time.

It may get expensive to find NOS stuff, but it will be worth it.
