Hey i'm new here and have never used any kind of forum... i have a 2009 ranger sport and i need some tips on how too lower it. It has torsion bars up front and leafs at the back. Any help would be greatly appreciated

not a fan of lowering any vehicle for any reason (use bodykits for that effect if you MUST), but welcome to TRS! you'll find everything you need here =)

You should be typing FML because you bought the WRONG truck for lowering. You bought the 4wd height 2wd. Similar to the Tacoma PreRunner models. You don't see people trying to lower the Prerunner Taco's do ya??? Shoulda bought a 2wd coil-spring Range rnad made it look like a Sport.

Only bet is removing the rear block and de-cranking the torsion bars. You can find a how-to on cranking the T-bars in the tech section of the site. Just do the opposite. You'll get MAYBE 2" MAX drop. Don't forget a trip to the alignment shop to cure those camber and toe issues!!!

And even then, you MAY run into balljoint angle issues.

Welcome to the site though.

GOOOOOO DAWGS!

Welcome to TRS plz post some pics of your ride.

Welcome to TRS~!

I know very little about lowering vehicles...well, actually, I know very little about most things...but, as you can tell by my post count, I have plenty of nothing to add...:)

Last time I lowered a vehicle I used a D8 Cat, it was a rush job. :headbang: Welcome to TRS:icon_thumby:
