I got a 03 regular cab 2wd ranger, has the stock wheels for a older model ranger on it but I want to take it back to 16's. I want 16x8's but I need to know that they will bolt up right and was wondering if they'll stick out any.

Stock 16" rims might a little due to generation differences but probably not much at all. Aftermarket could or not all depends on the backspacing of the rim itself. Just because it is wider does not always mean it will stick out. All of that width could be placed on the inside of the rim, or all on the outside. The bolt pattern would be what I have seen most Ford's 5 lugs 5x4.5" or 5x114.3mm they mean the same thing. The technical library has great write-ups on rim choice and the terms and measurements associated when deciding on new rims.

I think the rims have a 4inch backspace. I already bought a 16x7 and it fits fine but I was thinking about sending it back and getting a 16x8, but I didn't know if the fit width wise would sork

What type of stock rims and would you sell them, I'm looking for a set of steel rims for a 99 Ranger. dp

There aluminum, there the bullet hole style, there black with the little bullets painted red.
