I have a 96 ranger and when I use the left turn signal indicator it makes a buzz from the turn signal relay and the lights do NOT work.
I read that it was probably a MFS, so I changed that out with another used one and it does the same exact thing. Grant it, I should of bought a new one, but I didn't think that was my problem to begin with so it was hard to justify shelling out a bunch of money on one.
Then I bought a new turn signal relay and that didn't fix it either.
Now I'm thinking it must be a short in the steering column some where. Doesn't anybody have a picture of where they like to short out? I do not have tilt wheel and I've wiggled around on the wires and haven't been able to get it to UNshort?
Any advice?
