Did Ford make them in extended cabs?

And for people who don't know what a Trailhead is, it's basically the what came before the Edge. Same 2wd torsion bar suspension.

From the checking I did, found this info at TRS. The 2000 sale literature shows only the same, XL trim in single cab. I know one of the guys who used be on this site had the 3.0L but it also came with the 8.8 rear, must have been part of the package. He was on of the first to do the 5.0L swap.


"All trailhead rangers were 2wd and single cab models, in the XL trim package. They were the only pre-runner trucks made for the 2000 model year. So if it came factory with an 8.8" rear and a 3" lift and was a single cab 2wd good bet it's a trailhead."
