Me too. well yeah if i cant get a set of XJ arms to copy, i would use leafs.
i dont wanna get too anxious lol, i have to wait probably till late 2012

SAS parts are there for me to grab.
Dana 30 from an XJ, high pinion. unknown gearing.
Radius arms
Steering links/bars
Coils.

the guy is asking 260 usd.

Lets see if i can make the money in time.

LOL thanks guys.
Ill star making some moves and see if i can get the money before he sells the parts.
He will part out a working Xj just for me.
Good thing is: if i cant get the parts from this one, he can get me an axle later. He works on modding and restoring old cars and Jeeps. So hes always gettin and selling Jeep parts.

I would still need to sort out the tranmission part.
My cousin might part out his wrecked 88 Ranger, so ill ask him to save the steering box for me. It will be needed on the SAS.

I have 2 options for tranmission.

Theres a guy that seems to have a 4 cyl 4wd m5od with manual t case. it came off of a 91-92 4 banger 4wd ranger.
I could try to get that one.

Or get any 3.0 or 4.0 4wd m5od with electric t case( i can live with that)
get it to work without wiring modules and modify the housing to fit my engine.
A lot of guys here are doing stuff like that when they swap engines. they cut the housing from the original tranny, cut the housing from the new one and weld in the housing ring from the original tranny.
