As some of u guys know, im planning to do a Dana 30 Swap.
ill go leaf sprung. because seems like the easier way with the type of frame my truck has.
this is the general ideas and planning thread
http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115601

Since i wont be able to achieve the whole 4wd conversion at once, i divided it into 4 stages.

Stage 1: get the axle, steering box, leaf springs, and misc stuff to install and get the axle ready(seals, bearings, ect.)

Stage 2: install and fine tune axle and new front suspension

Stage 3: get transmission parts, either separate parts or a 4wd m5OD to convert my trans to 4wd.

Stage 4: install and fine tune transmission.

my current goal is to save 263 usd to cover stages 1 and 2.
my current saving is 97 usd.
ill be updating the parts fund everytime im able to save some money for it.

Only way to truely fine tune it all as one is if everything is all on the truck.

You think you having fun with a 2wd, wait till she can be both 2wd and 4wd.

I know, i meant making the suspension noise free and give it some good road manners while having good performance on rough terrain.

I know man, i cant wait to see my front tires diggin hard!! :headbang:
for the little time ive used my brothers 4wd im amazed.
