Well, idk why. but this damn things last really long, and hold up to any abuse.
using incorrect fluids and overloading the truck and they keep going. M5OD's of course.

couple things rsh.... arent you glad we pushed you to keep going when things looked bleak at getting the axle now that you are done with the hard parts? and i think you need to cut down the shifter shaft and weld a 1inch wrench in its place to look more industrial and cool.

Any progress i have the same front suspension as you, and i am also wanting to do a sas conversion on my 2wd as well, just been looking for people that already have knowledge in the area, nice truck by the way looks real good.

nah i wont wld it, and no still no axle under the front.
still at the same point.

Not an update, but an issue.
This truck has been having this issue since i got it.

When cold or at sudden acceleration it misses and now it backfires.
no CEL is on.
spark plugs and wires are around 3 years old, all motorcraft.
iac is new, tps also.



you can hear the exhaust poping on this vid, and it almost died.
