I'd love to see the rebuild of the truck with the new frame rails and the king cab.

these 2 posts, imply that on a twin stick truck, you can put the transfercase into fwd
Pretty close, John. To clarify, one stick is to control the front output from either low, neutral, or high, and the second stick is to control the rear output from either low, neutral, or high. Both sticks are controlled independantly from each other...

so the answer is yes to it leaving catastrophic failure as a constant option before this actually sets in.

if i go to a twin 205, no one will drive it anymore unless i am in it.![]()
in true 4WD terms.....twin stick = 2 sticks for the transfer case.....one to control Hi and Low, the other for front or rear output...
NOT a stick for the transfer case and a stick for the tranny.....as seen on other forums that cater to the " Mall Crawler " crowd ...

that's just it....no one will(or can)drive my truck but me.
call it the ultimate theft deterrant.
The normal one, on the back if the engine lol!
i know that, the first one... the one that is bolted TO the motor (not to another tranny)
with even 1000 transmissions, there should be a gear on each of them, which is a 1:1 ratio, and if all of them are in 1:1, you can pick any of the transmissions to shift like a normal truck, and it will be a normal 5 speed, running through gears at the normal pace (or 3 speed, or 4 speed... which ever transmission you pick)
