I just busted the rear slider window in my 2000 ranger. Does anyone know where i could get just the slider itself. I am not really looking to pay the expense of an entire window. Thanks.

I believe all rangers have a one piece rear window. That how my 97 is and I had to replace the whole thing. Honestly price wasnt to bad, I think it was a little over $200 to have the whole thing replaced. Do not go to Ford to get it replaced, go to a local glass shop to get it done, and as long as you dont care about 100% perfect replacement get the cheapest slider they have available.

The slider I ended up getting looks real good, it just doesnt have as much tint as the stock one did.

I just bought a slider out of the junk yard for $17 and they are way easy to replace at least the ext. cab and the older std cab are.

But prior to my replacement I went out and bought a piece of plexi from ace hardware, had them cut it down to the size I needed. I then took the locking mech. off the old piece, then drilled A whole into the plexi for the lock made sure it all fit. then got some tint from autozone. it worked great if I didn't get the other window so cheap it would still be in. I'll probably place the slider with pelxi in my 87 come to think about it.
