i'm installing a fabtech spindle kit and putting in aftermarket torsion keys
in my 08 ranger 3.0l v6 2wd sport and running 33x12.50x15 tires would you
guys recommend making mods to my tranny or engine after doing this(like
installing a shift kit etc.) I mean the stock tires are 235/75r15's so
thats like a 6 inch increase. Or will it be ok with the stock setup?

any opinions are apreciated

You'll need to regear the rearend to 4.88 for the bigger tires, yes.

Somewhat yes (although less so on a 2WD, only one axle to regear).

Expect to pay around $200-250 for the ring & pinion gears, $50-60 for a shim kit (don't let anyone try to sell you a Master install kit for your '08, you simply won't need all new bearings in there with it as new as it is), and around $200-300 labor for a rearend shop to do the job.
