Yeah didn't know where to post it, where does it fit?

Anyways.....I twisted the junk outta my truggy frame. So I am looking to get ready and start a new build. I have a 96 f250 std cab. But i don't really want to build a full width bodied truck as I had a hard enough time keeping the body damage to a mininmum on the ranger truggy. So I was thinking put a ranger cab on the f250 frame, plenty strong enough frame, but with the ranger cab still have narrow width.

But the problem, I have never really seen a decent looking swap done.....I don't want it to look like some hack jobber. Anybody here on TRS do something similar for a trail rig........I am not talking about a strict mudding truck as those generally require a whole special type of fab all on there own. I don't like the 6" Body lift look.

I did search but its kinda a hard term to get decent results...Looked at phatdaddy's where he did a b2 on a 74? frame.

My buddy Phil from college put a extended cab Ranger cab on a FSB frame. I'll try to get a hold of him on the club forum.

wasn't there picks of a Gen1 Explorer that was swapped onto an F250 frame....... it looked like Ford put it there

Thats what I would want to go for, see way to many that look awful with all kinds of space between the cab and frame. I like it tight :icon_rofl:

This is a first gen on a FSB frame...one of the local guys
