Hey all,
My Son and I just picked up His 86 ranger 4wd.We traded His 81 Datsun custom rock Crawler for it.It seems to have potential if it were running.I found this site while studying up on the problem with the truck.it's a 1986 ranger longbed 2.9l v6.It has a trailmaster "lift kit" on it.some sort of aftermarket wheels and road tires for now.it won't run yet but it shouldn't be too much problem(I hope)This isn't our first truck "Toy" We've had a 77 toyota tuff truck.A 1996 SAS toyota Tacoma and an 81 Datsun dana 44'd SAS pickup rock crawler.All built in our driveway.Both crawlers were jump tested and handled the Rubicon with ease,among other California trails.
Now we've been competing in pistol competitions and 3 gunning.
anyhoo,This is a pretty nice resource and I'm glad I found it.
