Howdy! So I looked into swapping a 95 2.3 into a 93 but it looks like they changed too much to make it doable for me.
So, I found a guy with a nice 92 Mustang 2.3l. It looks like it will swap easily and from what I've found around here it looks like it's an easy switch where I may have to just change the oil pan.
I could use a little bit of confidence in feeling that it's a plug and play operation here from a 92 stang to a 93 (no egr) Ranger. If you know please let me know so I don't buy this motor only to find out I need a whole lot of other things to make it work.
Shoot, already bought one engine that is going to do me no good (pitted cyl walls from sitting water), don't need 3 boat anchors!!!!
