My 1999 Ford Ranger is shaking just a little bit every now and then when i stop and when i accelerate. I just installed a new alternator, i dont know if that has anything to do with it. Any ideas?

Thanks

Could it possibly be the motor mounts? I'm no mechanic, but thats my guess.

How long has it been since you did a good tune up?

Does it feel like it is trying to choke off when you stop? If its an auto tranny, the torque converter may not be unlocking.

I just got the truck not to long ago, so i havent had a tune up. It is an automatic, some have told me it could possibly even be my spark plugs
