ranger explorer spring swap?

Hey everybody i was looking around and it looked like some people were swaping explorer front springs with the ranger springs to give it a little boost up front.

I was wondering if anybody did this for if there is any info on this, from what it looks like all you need to do is swap out the springs and then just do a front end allignment.

just wondering if anyone out there has any info on this and how it worked out when you did it.

yes, older trucks may get a small boost from the front springs from a 91-94 EX....just depends on what engine/body style ya have.....

if you are happy with the ride ya have now, and just want a little boost.....go with the washer mod....

and yes, would just be a spring swap and alignment.....

please stay away from the poly ones....they are not worth the time or money...

I don't think it says what size washer in the tech library, but you want 1 1/4" washers, they have the 1 3/8" inner diameter needed, I believe they have them at Fastenall but they are galvanized and on the spendy side, I had better luck at the local bolt house (Oregon Bolt) where they had plain washers for very cheap...

i would just rob some spacers from a 150 out of the junkyard.
