Ranger Convertable???

Wondering if anyone has made a Ranger into a convertable soft top?? After years of off-road my cab of my 89 Ranger has seen better days. Due to an accident in 2003, my rear window is plexiglas that pops out easily. And now that my cab welds are coming apart at the roof im thinking its time to chop the top and cage it. However I would still like a little overhead protection when needed and I think a soft top would be nicer than a removable hard top. Any thoughts???

a sawzall can be your best freind.the toughest part is capping the upper windshield frame,the door where the window frame are cut off and the cab back are a bit easier.don't expect the soft top to seal like factory,though.cross winds can blow rain right into the cab.

Ya I kinda expect a little rain leakage with a soft top. But that wont really bother me none anyway, damn thing leaks bad enough as it is

Thanks for doing some searching for me. I tried googleing it too but gave up after first couple pages. I may just stick with a solid lid after all. I spent 2 hours cleaning sticks leaves and other junk out of my bed after last two runs, dont really wanna have to clean cab out everytime too. Thanks again for the help guys.
