And I know of another lot with about 50 more!:headbang:

Fleet rangers. Most likely all 4 bangers, horrible gearing, and bone stock power options.

Those are the pos fleet crap that may never be sold and wind up in a chopper and then sent to China!!!!! lol

Hmmmmm, I would take one for free just for the rolling body and stuff what I want in there...lol

hell, id pay scrap value and get a couple in a heart beat

Actually it has probably come down to fleet trucks keeping the lights on, much like the Crown Vic's. Like our local PD has been scooping up CV's while they can, the local parts stores are stocking up on Rangers while they can as well.

Unless they are on Fords lot they are now a dealer's problem to move, unless a tornado goes through these have little to worry about. And if it is at a factory lot, nothing new. They usually sit there for a couple weeks before being shipped out. Google Earth a Ford factory and admire all the new iron sitting around there waiting to be cleared to ship out.

nothing wrong with fleet rangers at all, the 4 cylinder is plenty.

hell, my ranger is a fleet truck and it's just fine.

My ranger was too a fleet vehicle, designated as a ranger "s" according to the vin #. Only options it has was the 4.0 and auto trans. Why a park ranger needed a bone stock ranger with a 4.0 and auto trans is beyond me.

lifting

I'd take two. Then I'd lift one and lower one.

I'm driving a 2011 ranger now for a out of town class and was looking at the supension and the front is torsion bar and cv 4x4. has anyone strated to make a lift kit for this year yet?

It rides lower but torsion bar with CV's started in '98. 2wd are still coil sprung but are not TIB.
