Hey new guy to the forum, not so new to cars and trucks.
I recently got back an 85 Ranger that was mine for a little while in the nineties. Long story short, I bought it back then to put a 302 in, but my youngest brother wrecked my dads Ranger very early in the swap, so I gave it to my dad. I'm not sure when but it became one of my other brothers, who passed away early this year. My oldest brother had claim to it somehow and got it from Pat's estate, but he saw me eyeballing it over at his house and since he has too many projects already, he sold it to me for $50, minus the Turbo 2300 engine that was missing the turbo. A real slug!!
It's back home and farther along with the 302 swap than it was back then, and this time it's a stick instead of an auto. (Not the same engine! That went into a Fox LTD, long since gone.)
Anyway I'll be asking a few RAnger specific questions from time to time, but not many since I've done this a lot in my life and this site has answered many of my questions already.
And maybe I'll see about posting a how-to on putting 1998 up Mustang GT brakes on these things. The PBR twin piston aluminum ones with 12+ inch rotors.
