Me and my buddy were driving around in his 00 ranger xlt, and we pull up to a 02-04 edge, lifted, real nice truck, and my buddy passes him and waves and so the guy catches us and we started talking all about our rangers and stuff while doing 45mph down the street, he had the 4.0, cut off the exhaust after the cats and boy did it sound mean. just cool to know that other ranger drivers have ranger spirit. :)

haha. random, but i'd thought i'd share it with ya guys.

Did you tell him about TRS?

I try to ask people about their rangers and I usually get this answer, "It's just a cheap truck to get me from here to there."

From the tone I can usually tell they don't care anything about it.

Sad really... I keep searching for Ranger buddies though.

^O just wait till march 8th!

HELL YEAH!!!!

Btw..., 94STX, How many people on TRS know about the March 8th meet at Independence, MO???

I haven't heard hardly anything on this site...

Ranger buddies rock! Me and one of the guys who I go to school with and am good friends with are both Ranger fanatics! Ive got a 4x4 and hes got a sleeper 2x4, we got it covered with the gen 3's

Oddly enough I met Todd (one of my best friends up here at college) through TRS, and he introduced me to Evan, who is also a good friend and member here. J-rod13 was also a member here and he's a good friend.

There's a Ranger (93-97 body style) that's always in the same parking lot as me at school, narrow D44/9" axles, I'm pretty sure he has a V8. One of these days I'm thinking of leaving him a note on his windshield.

Also, one of my friends in our college 4x4 club has a Ranger that he's putting a straight axle in. He had a Rough Country lift in and says that Rough Country used a picture of his truck on their website, I'm assuming this one http://www.roughcountry.com/ford_83-97_midsize.htm. The truck is at his folks house now, I haven't seen it, so I'm not sure if that's it or not.

And one of the club's alumni is building up a pretty sweet Ranger, there was a picture of it in Peterson's a few months back in the Drummond Island article. Here's the build thread http://mtu4wheelers.powweb.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1592
