Hi ,I'am looking to buy a 4x4 ranger and i like to know where to find info
that tell me the difference between years of production.
And also like to know your opinion on wath year are better ?
Thanks

93 to 97 are the best years imo. They switched to the d35ttb and ttb's are very easy to lift and you can lift them cheap.

STAY AWAY FROM RANGERS -MAZDA B4000 IS WAY BETTER-STICK WITH 94-97 FOR TTB AND AWESOME LOOKS! :thefinger: RUN FOR YOUR LIFE-THESE RANGER GUYS WILL CORRUPT YOU!

I bought a 2000 3.0 AT 4x4 a month ago and am not real happy with it. No power, 0-60 some time today and low end power does not exist. Will look for a 4.0 5 speed like my last one next time or get a Tacoma.

Thats what you get for getting a 3.0 They Suck!!!:D

if a 3.0 is geared right and you know how to drive they do fine on the street, im not saying they are better than a 4.0 but they arent as bad as people make them out to be

and check out our Tech Library, its got all the info you'll ever need

gen 3 rangers don't look as good as the same year mazdas imo

tell em rose! mazda 4 life !zoom zoom-mazda and ranger are almost identical ,buy the best lookin one with the 4.0 /5spd,d35/8.8.the motor is as good as the jeep and the driveline is stronger(this is fact not just opinion) ttb flex's better than ifs and cheaper to lift and mod.as to the where to find answers read as much in the tech section as you can -and welcome to the board!
