1999 ford ranger 4x4 front passenger tube into differential is broken where it goes into the pumpkin. I looked at schematics on this site and it doesn't show the tube? where is it? is it part of the pumpkin housing and it is just not shown on the schematic? can this tube be purchased seperately. thanks in advance for the help.

if you mean axle tube as in the tube thats pressed into the housing, then yes you will need another front axle assembly, or atleast the housing so you can swap your existing gears into the new housing. how did you manage to break the tube?

i just bought the truck....upon further inspection the tube is cracked at where it is pressed into the housing. the truck had been wrecked by previous owner. I guess that is what cracked the housing. oh well....whole assembly is cheap enough i guess. truck only has 33000 miles on it. was hoping to just put a new tube on it or weld this one up. it would be a trick getting the al clean enough for ME to weld. lol.

i got mine for like 160 two years ago... i will have one for sale in like a month with 4.10...
