My credo
Work hard and play harder
The start of my day here at work has not been the most pleasant today. Right before I turned on to a side street to our parking lot I ran over a piece of metal, so I have a flat tire with a brand new tire. Good side is I have a road side warranty. On top of that I locked my keys in my truck, no big deal I use the antenna trick. I was looking in my bed talking to a co worker, was trying to help me unlock my truck, and I have 1 pop tart and an empty coke bottle in my bed. I try to keep shit out of my bed all together so it will not blow out into traffic. So some @#$%ing college student, I work on a college campus, decided to use my truck bed as their personal trash can. I think it is time for a tonneau cover. I done now.

Do you guys have issues with people dumping shyt in your beds?

typically, the only shit that gets thrown in the bed of my truck is the shit i threw in there lol

even easier than the antenna trick, get a copy of your key made for like $2 and keep it in your wallet. You'll never be locked out again.

that's what i've got. i don't even have a radio antenna, i took it off so i could shvae it down.

Yeah, that used to happen to me when I lived on campus. It hasn't been as much of a problem lately, part if it owing to my cover. I had it off last winter for a few weeks though and when I'd go park at my old building people would put stuff in there. It was always things that were just laying in the parking lot when I got home. I guess it would blow under my truck and they would just assume it was mine and throw it in my bed.

I am going to go get one later today, Friday morning when it off or tomorrow, Saturday morning when I get off. Not a fan of having it in my wallet though. I might try to find a water tight magnetic key holder and stash it some where.

i keep an extra jey on my wallet, then i realized that the prev owner stashed one behind the bumper on a magnetic case lol

and +1 on the trash, i hate that too:annoyed:

i have one stashed on my truck in a magnetic holder , and the ony shit that winds up in my bed is shit i put there , except in the winter , then i get the occasional snowman

I keep a spare key in my wallet. Used to keep one in a magnetic holder, but I was never comfortable with the fact that if it was anywhere I could get to it, anyone else could get to it too.

Spare key? I just park my truck in a snow bank, they'll never find it there! :icon_rofl:

I found an axe in the back of my truck one day. I just left it there. Comes in handy if I ever want to cut up a dead tree and have a fire in the bush!

I found a big gulp cup from quick stop half full sitting on the ammo can in the back of my scout...

Pissed me off only because I noticed it 30 seconds before it fell off and spilled everywhere.

Really need to roll the sides of the soft top back down. Bastards.

I usually didn't get trash in my Ranger because I typically had a cap or tonneau cover on it all the time... but once in awhile on college campus someone would throw something in the bed anyway. (what on earth is wrong with some people??)

My F-150 seems to attract cigarette butts and empty cans... mostly cig butts though. I'm still confused as to why someone would throw it in the bed of a truck instead of drop it on the ground.

I put cigarette butts, empty cans, trash/whatever in the back of my truck and clean it out every 2 days or so. So I would have no idea if someone else threw something in the back of my truck but I'm sure it has happened before

Used to happen to me back when I was in highschool all the time.

I was the one that threw bottles and cans in it though.

i always get beer cans and shit in my truck. its usually the wanna be country girls from town that i know that think its cool to toss empty beer cans in the back of my truck. and if one more of my buddies leaves their dip cup in my backseat cupholders im gonna go to jail for castrating them....
