random pig tail??

okay i have a 93 ranger xlt supercab and directly under my thermostat controls there is a random pigtail, and i cant where the wires are comin from either. i noticed it when i took out the door alarm thingy and i just wondered what it did, its just sittin there

It's a test point that is used only during vehicle assembly.
