The nut at the bushing end of the radius arm, what size socket fits it? I wrote down and drove all the way to the Tractor Supply and lost the paper I wrote it on and can't remember.

I know it's smaller that 1-1/4"...

Any help? I'm literally standing in the store.

1 1/8" I believe.

On my '88, the nut measures to be just over 1 3/16. I would buy a 31mm socket.

I took mine off with an 18" crescent wrench, there's not room for a socket between the nut and the cat.

I can't see that it changed between 88-89.

31mm 1-1/8", can we come to a consensus?

I always used a 1 1/8 wrench. It may be metric I just used it that wrench because it was close enough to work.

10-4.

Thanks guys I appreciate the rapid responses.

Mine was adjustable size.

Tried that once... ended up doing pull ups on a breaker bar with that handy dandy 1 1/8 lol

Yeah, as I recall I was hanging from one side of the frame by my arms and putting both legs into my Snappy adjust'em'able on that side.

On the other I think I did use my FHA 1/2 ratchet which is actually longer than any breaker bar I have.

just used an impact wrench.. and they came right off:icon_thumby:
