I've just began looking for a radiator. The MRE book says to buy a specialized radiator designed for a v8 or you will experience overheating issues. It says not to use the stock radiator. Harwood engineering book says use a 4.0 ranger radiator. So what is everyone using? Has anyone found any problems with the v6 rad.

Thanks
Keith

A lot will depend on what kind of engine you have built and what you are doing with it. A stock 302 that you will daily drive and cruise a 4.0 radiatior would be fine. I did it with a 302 BII. But if you have a healthy stroker and going to rock crawl it there will be more heat to deal with and require a bigger radiator. If you feel you need bigger check the jegs and summit brand universal fit ones. You will have to devise a way to mount it but there is a lot of bang for your buck with them.
