Will the radiator from a 4.0 ranger bolt up to a 2.9 B2?

I believe the only difference is if it is for a manual or auto trans. You'll get the same part if you buy one at a parts house.

There is a radiator in some Explorers that has a cooling package thats 2 cores thick instead of one.Now even when i'm spinning along in the snow barely moving it's right at the bottom of the safe zone.The only difference i've seen in them is some lower hose connection has a tilt sometimes and takes a different hose.

On the dozen and more radiators I've had the tilt for the lower hose is on the ones with the auto transmission cooler in them. And they do require a different hose. The Two Row radiators I have come across I think were OE solely.

try the LMC catalog on page 105, part no. 50-2214. might fit the 2" thick, 3 row, 2.8 radiator in there without much effort. good luck!

so i went to autozone, grabbed the rad for a 4.0 92 ranger 4x4 with AC and auto transmission, outlets line up perfectly and it's three rows thick, this is gonna be awesome.

Yup, I used to have a 94 Ex radiator in my old 89 B2.

I put a Explorer (don't remember what year) radiator in my 88 Ranger 2.9 auto and doubled the capacity.
