2 7/8" clearance.

damn thats tight...i had 7 in of clearance. i think i only have 1.75 or 2 between the 6.5 diesel swap and intech fans. thats the nice thing with body lifts its easier to get the engine back a lil.

ok so i tried to fit mine in between my grill and core support without cutting much didnt work so basically you all are cutting a bit more of it than i was thinking the bottom beam is gone and reinforce with your own its looks like and some triming with the upper beam and around the sides is this correct .

for the most part, you're gonna want the radiator to hug the very front of the core support, so those 2 side wings will have to go, and depending on your radiator dimensions, cutting chunks from the 2 bottom corners of the support.

That's what I had to do, plus make room for the filler neck.

I think COPPERHEAD85's setup is a lot better than mine, though

Thanks iron!(thats because the rad is covering where i went nuts with the cut off wheel!)

That stang rad is flippin wide! Its only a single row where yours is a double. If i would have went double I wouldnt have had to cut so much.

this is what i cut out to fit a stock dimension rad, then moved the bottom mounts down

only pic i have at the moment you can see it in the ugly fawker. its still all beta here so to speak. maybe before i pull ot apart to rework the wires and put the supports in i will get some pics so the core mods are easy to see. the frames modded heavy, cause i wasnt buying another radiator this winter.
